THE ANNUAL HARVEST

The annual harvest held on November 11, 2014 will undoubtedly go down as one of the most exciting, energetic and inspiring harvests in recent memory thanks in no small part to the 'full energy' ministering of Rev. Adu Gyamfi, a minister from Bible Believers Tabernacle, Bronx, NY. The Rev. stirred up the crowd with a raucous, 'praise the lord' to which the congregants responded with equally enthusiastic, 'amen.' The Rev. proceeded to deliver his message and conducted the appeal for fund raising. One of the more memorable nuggets of wisdom on giving that the Rev. impacted to the congregation was that, what we give to the work of God, only leaves our hand but it doesn't leave our life. He rose over $50K in cash that evening. The occasion also saw a new innovation by the Harvest Committee. Dozens of Can Milk labeled with Ghana United Methodist Church was sold off at $20.00 a can thanks to the invigorating effort of Rev. Samuel Nketsia. Members of the congregation received a small bag with Snapple drink and doughnut or 'bofrot' in Ghanaian parlance for their enjoyment as a thank you gesture from the Harvest Committee.
