TEEN BIBLE MINISTRY
This ministry is geared towards gradually preparing our young people; between the ages of 11 and 17 years, for CONFIRMATION as responsible adult members of the Ghana United Methodist Church.
Starting with eight Teens in August of 2010, the Teens Service now has 55 members and counting. The Almighty God is still drawing children to Himself.
Young people gather every Sunday worship period; 6pm to 9pm: to Learn how to worship the Lord God Almighty as Methodists; to Learn how to develop a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus; to Learn how to serve others in the Community and to Learn how to socialize in a godly and responsible manner.
This is done mainly through the study of the Bible, the study and singing of hymns from the Methodist Hymn Book and participation in general discussion as to how to live by the Word of God in today's world and youth culture.
Members of the Teens Service also have the opportunity to join the Junior Choir of the Ghana United Methodist Church.
Parents are encouraged to bring and enroll their Teenagers in the Program; the future benefits are enormous and there are virtually no costs.
