Five baptisms were performed by Rev. J.O. Sarfo before 1990 at Salem United Methodist Church. The first two children were Maame Yaa Nimo Sarkodie and Nana Akyaa Sarkodie, and the next children were Kingsley Osei, Richard osei-Owusu, and Patricia Osei-Owusu. After the first 5 children, baptisms ofChildren in the Church are being performed by the Resident Pastors every 3 months.
