Trained at The London Studio Center and with the late William Louther, Iris is a diverse dancer / singer / choreographer. A 2x Salsa Champion, she holds a Lifetime Achievement Award for her contribution to Salsa in the UK. A coach in “Strictly Dance Fever" (BBC) she also choreographed and directed sold out show “El Barrio” a theatre production with Song, Salsa & Live percussion. One of the founders of Kizomba in the UK she created Studio Afro Latino to promote Kizomba & Afro-Luso Rhythms and was awarded a LUKAS award for best Kizomba Teacher. As BATUKE's creative director, Iris believes in "connecting people through dance & music". Her classes are uplifting & holistic.
